A New Global Education was developed as Nancy Meaker’s final project for her
MA in International Education at George
Washington University in Washington, DC.
There she specialized in non-formal education and South Asia. Her undergraduate work was in
International Development and Modern Languages at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She currently attends the Barbara Brennan School of Healing and
hopes to marry her experience in education in developing countries and passion
for healing arts. She spent a
number of years on staff at the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies in
Rhinebeck, New York. She has
traveled and volunteered extensively throughout the developing world and the former Soviet Union.
